Offshore renewable energy and its impact on the marine environment constitute a cross-border challenge. However, there is not a single organisation in North-West Europe that specialises in all aspects of offshore sustainability. ORESA aims to tackle this issue.

Offshore wind farms provide us with large amounts of clean renewable energy, but also have a certain effect on the environment. The ANEMOI project studies possible chemical emissions from these wind farms (OWFs) and their impact on ecosystems and aquaculture.

The impact of the European 'Green Deal' is gradually becoming tangible at sea as well. In the BANOS project, stakeholders in the Baltic Sea and North Sea regions are taking concrete positive measures to restore our ocean and waters.

BlueBioClusters aims to support European (coastal) regions and citizens in the transition to a sustainable blue bio-economy. The project contributes to the development of blue value chains by improving blue bio-economy cluster services across Europe.
