The production of renewable energy at sea fluctuates significantly due to weather patterns. New innovations are required in order to manage this energy production. However, the sector is characterised by a high entry barrier for SMEs. The Offshore Accelerator for System Integration & Storage (OASIS) provides both the content and structure to enable SMEs to seize this opportunity and implement their ideas.

A key goal of OASIS is to help SMEs develop in parallel on three crucial aspects that impact the performance and market suitability of the end product: technology development, commercial development and sustainable design. OASIS will help SMEs understand their gaps in these areas, assist them in implementing crucial developments, provide quantified information on the potential of different markets and connect them with market participants.

OASIS will combine experts from the areas with deep insights into the challenges facing the offshore renewable energy sector. By supporting 30 SMEs with a focus on the development of system integration and storage solutions, OASIS will accelerate their journey to the offshore market.
