Group Business Trip Offshore Wind to Poland
Poland has an estimated offshore wind potential of 33 GW. This could provide more than 50% of its own energy needs. In addition, this opens up prospects for the country to play a leading role in offshore wind energy in the Baltic Sea.
As part of a first phase of offshore wind projects, Poland aims to realise approximately 5.9 GW of offshore wind capacity by 2030. The first projects have already been launched and are expected to be operational in 2026 at the earliest.
It goes without saying that Poland's ambitions also bring opportunities for Flemish companies active in offshore wind. That is why we would like to invite you to explore this fascinating market during an international group business trip.
This mission is open to all members of the Blue Cluster and is organised by the partners of the ELBE Alliance (with the support of ELBE Eurocluster) on Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 March 2025.
Programme
Some highlights of the programme include:
- Visit to Baltic Towers, Grupa Przemysłowa Baltic and the Port of Gdansk;
- Participation in the PowerConnect Energy Summit;
- B2B meetings with companies such as ORLEN and ENERGA.
